A Wild Evening

Michaela Strachan is a BAFTA-award winning TV presenter and has been making iconic wildlife programmes for over 3 decades. Her work is extensive and has progressed from children's wildlife programmes like The Really Wild Show and Michaela's Wild Challenge in the 80s and 90s, to flag ship BBC programmes, like Countryfile and Springwatch, as well as so many others: Orangutan Diaries, Elephant Diaries, Extreme Conservation to name just a few. Michaela has a wealth of stories, adventures, encounters and unpredictable moments from her large and varied back catalogue!

Michaela Strachan said: "I have had an incredible career filming many different wildlife programmes and am so keen to share some of my stories. 'A Wild Evening' will be a unique opportunity to hear four very different presenters talk about their passions and their wild adventures. Strap yourselves in and get ready for a wild ride!"

Gordon Buchanan has contributed to countless award-winning wildlife programmes and documentaries. Gordon will reveal gripping tales from his time filming and living alongside some of the world’s most fearsome and powerful predators - the bigger and more elusive the better! He will share the highs, the lows, the fears, and the awe of a solitary cameraman’s life in the wild.

Gordon Buchanan said: "We'll be sharing exciting stories from behind the scenes of time spent getting up close and personal with nature. I’ve been both behind and in front of the camera - and what happens when the cameras stop rolling is often the most intense when you’re out at the mercy of the elements. I look forward to sharing some of these moments to give crowds a sense of what it’s like working in tough conditions to deliver incredible images in order to tell nature’s stories from all over the world."

Lizzie Daly is a scientist with a love of marine life and has spent time in many extreme environments. A dedicated conservationist, Lizzie will take audiences on a dive into marine adventures, from swimming with sharks in Australia, to whales in South America, to giant jellyfish here at home. She will tell tales of extraordinary marine life, as well as her solo expeditions, tracking elusive animals on land.

Lizzie Daly said: "A huge part of my research and exploration is driven by the knowledge that I can use what I’ve learned to educate others on incredible things I’ve witnessed along the way. I am honoured to be joining legends of wildlife TV Michaela, Hannah and Gordon on stage to share all our secrets with a live audience – it's going to be a uniquely wild evening in each venue."

Hannah Stitfall is a TV presenter, filmmaker and conservation advocate. With a first class degree in Zoology and a Master’s in Wildlife Filmmaking, Hannah communicates the wonders of nature to audiences globally via her impactful photography and storytelling. With a love of adventure, she has travelled the world filming rare species; working with organisations to protect and cherish the natural world and wildlife around us. This has seen her garner a sizeable and loyal following on social media, making her one of the most prolific wildlife influencers in the UK. Hannah will reflect on her time
